Two Types Of Seeds
Gymnosperms
The gymnosperms are a group of seed-producing plants that includes conifers, cycads, Ginkgo, and Gnetales. The term "gymnosperm" comes from the Greek word gymnospermos, meaning "naked seeds", after the unenclosed condition of their seeds.

Angiosperms (Flowering Plants)
Angiosperms are plants that produce flowers which are then fertilized to produce seeds. These are also known as "flowering plants."
The angiosperms are vascular seed plants in which the ovule (egg) is fertilized and develops into a seed in an enclosed hollow ovary. The ovary itself is usually enclosed in a flower, that part of the angiospermous plant that contains the male or female reproductive organs or both (Britannica). |
